What a great weekend for the first Heavy Metal Sports Sedans meeting as part of sports sedans. 1st Stephen Trewin 2nd me 3rd Ashley Maclurkin and 4th Graeme Hadow so good you guys supported this idea and got behind it. Other floorpan cars were running but for whatever reason didn't enter HMSS and that's cool. As it's all about cars on the grid. That's what matters to me. Had lots of chats with people regarding the class. Just to be clear this is not a break away class. We want it as part of sports sedans. Even though not cams or ASSA supported we will do it. As it's a great feeder class into the main game. Thanks again all. And a big congrats to our 2016 Heavy Metal...

Final race of the weekend at Phillip Island, Ran had a fuel vapour issue that meant at low speed scrubbing tyres in etc cause fumes to get really bad. With a slick track and no heat in his tyres, Ash was all over him for first few laps of the race.

Heavy Metal SS island magic. Now is the time to rise up metal war lords. As part of the sports sedan 50k plate and final round of the state championship. We are running the Heavy Metal class in this brutal arena know as Phillip Island. A land of shifting weather from sleat to brutal heat, capable of melting steel. You must register your intention to run as a HMSS here, its our chance to show we have the numbers. You are running at a CAMs event so must comply to all regs and you will be running in 3D sports sedans so must comply to 3D regs. If you want this class to run next season. NOW is the time to show your strength. Talk is cheap and actions can change the wastel...

Well this is our first post of the site. The video is a snapshot of doing the first test at Winton. This car took around 12 months to build, and was predominately built in a small garage in the otter western suburbs of Melbourne.

The style of video is very simple, fly on the wall, a glimpse into low budget racing in Australia
